OLD FORESTER'S PARISTOWN HALL

When the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts in Louisville, KY began design of a new venue dedicated to music performance, it sought out Crossfade Design’s expert team.

The project was a $12 million, 28,000-square-foot standing room venue holding up to 2,000 people. The rig consists of a multiple, movable trusses with a complete LED automated lighting system. Equipment includes Elation Davinci LED Profiles, Clay Paky Axcor Beam 300 LED profiles, Ayrton Nandobeam S6 and the entire house lighting is capable of full color-mixing using 100 of AC Lighting’s Chroma-Q Inspire RGBW LED fixtures. As a result, events inside of Old Forester’s Paristown Hall can experience a complete coverage of programmable color.

Since it’s a touring venue, the entire system is based on streaming ACN to control the lights by design. Tours will really enjoy the ease of assimilation in this state-of-the-art venue by interfacing any motion lighting controller.
