Michael Nevitt, Christian Hibbard and David Morton, business partners in Design Lighting Group at the time (DLG dissolved in early 2000’s) served as lighting designers working with D.P. Jamie Anderson. Nevitt’s creative work included many scenes of the film. Rare for the time, much of the film was controlled from the Wholehog 2 lighting console which allowed the ‘Rock Vegas Strip’ to light-up and the Flintstone gang drove the strip. The design included the Tardust Casino showroom where Mick Jagged and the Stones performed emerging for a giant clam shell. Nevitt also designed the Tardust Casino gambling floor.
