Crossfade Design’s relationship with the Farmaid organization pre-dates the company itself and actually help lead to its creation. In 1992, Jason Robinson and Michael Nevitt meet while working as console operator and assistant designer, respectively, on Farmaid 5 at Cowboy’s Stadium in Dallas, Texas. They followed it up with Farmaid 6 the next year in Ames, Iowa and their working relationship has continued since. Many of the Farmaid concerts past, with Jason working on a few events, now as Lighting Designer. In 2012, Crossfade Design officially joined the Farmaid team with Jason as Production Designer, Michael and Eric Wade as Lighting Directors. Crossfade also handles the video content and screen programming for the 16 hour event. The company continues the project having designed the most recent event last fall.
