Aaron Wade
Lighting Designer/Programmer
Aaron Wade grew up in the entertainment industry traveling the world with his family; meeting and watching industry legends. At the age of ten, Aaron ran his first lighting cue under the direction of his father for Bette Midler at Caesar’s in Las Vegas. Through the years, Aaron has earned respect and desirability with all who he has had the opportunity to work with.
Before starting college, Aaron worked his first media programming job and lighting designer assistant on Princess Cruise Line ships for FOHShow and private shows for Usher. In the fall of 2016, Aaron began his official collegiate theatre design track at the University of Oklahoma. Over the next five years Aaron would have the opportunity to study, learn, design, and execute all aspects of theatre design for various productions. Additionally, Aaron would work tours during the summer and single event shows during the school year to further his knowledge and understanding of the entertainment industry. By the time Aaron graduated he had over fifteen University Productions under his belt and worked with the following artists and events Rod Stewart, Cyndi Lauper, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Paula Abdul, Eric Clapton’s Crossroads, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Top Rank Boxing. During the entertainment shutdown due to Covid lockdown, he finished his degree while also helping with thermal imaging design and installs for UVC disinfection. Aaron is a patent holder for his design work on the Nemesis UVC Hydra, Orochi, and Typhon lines of fixtures.
In May of 2021, Aaron graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BFA in Drama; theatre design, emphasis lighting design. Aaron has worked non-stop since graduation with the following tours and events: Rosalia, Lionel Ritchie, Janet Jackson, Luis Miguel, TLC, "I Want To Dance With Somebody" Movie (Whitney Houston), Top Rank Boxing, Bareknuckle Boxing, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Unspeakable Live Houston. His versatility across the industry is deep: Co-production designer, Lighting Designer, Lighting Director, Screens Director, Camera Operator, Media Programmer, Media Server Tech, Hippo Tech, LED Tech, and Lighting Tech.
Aaron enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as, hockey, football, good food, travel, and his work.
