Sam Brown
Lighting Designer

Sam is a Lighting Designer for Crossfade Design. He discovered his passion for lighting in middle school. In high school, his tech director encouraged him to pursue his passion for lighting while designing for his High School productions. Lighting design allows Sam to mix art and technology in the best way.

In his time at Crossfade, he has worked on multiple installs including, but not limited to, Little Caesars Arena in Detroit and Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. Sam is the programmer and designer for Buffalo Sabres, as well as the programmer for the Cleveland Cavaliers. When Sam is not programming or designing, he is on crew for HBO and ESPN boxing, drafting the next big project for Crossfade Design, or searching for new projects to design under Crossfade Design.

Sam is credited for the design of the original tour of Remarkably Normal and has designed musicals such as Rocky Horror Show and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Sam is a proud alumnus from the prestigious University of Oklahoma, where he received a BFA in Theatre, and the Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas.
