Joshua started operating the lighting console for his church at 10 years old and hasn’t been able to move away from it since. As the department grew, he later became heavily involved on the broadcast side as a camera operator and video director. He pursued that interest through the high school theatre department working on the stagecraft crew.

Joshua graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BFA in Theatre with an emphasis in lighting design. While there, he was the lighting designer for a wide variety of shows, a programmer, a technician and sound designer. He especially enjoyed lighting the annual dance showcases and several other projects in that department. 

Joshua worked with Crossfade for a summer as an intern. After graduating in 2020 he freelanced for us and is now on board full time. Joshua brings a strong work ethic and fresh design ideas to the Crossfade Team.
